If together we all strived toward becoming more loving and compassionate beings toward ourselves, the planet and others, love and compassion will naturally radiate onto others through collective consciousness.
This fundamental sociological concept was coined by Émile Durkheim, one of the founding thinkers of sociology.
The term Collective Consciousness is defined by the set of shared beliefs, ideas, knowledge and moral attitudes which operate as a unifying force within a group or society has as a whole.
This collective consciousness, or conscious collective, has been slowly formed to shape a dormant consciousness that in turn has created a disconnect from our natural environment. This is caused by the industrial revolution and the powerful entities that influence the general public through the media.
Luckily, the collective consciousness can be changed! All we have to do is work together to propel the true ideology of living a compassionate life.
